South Carolina Christian Foundation (SCCF), originally established in 1997 as Spartanburg Chrisitan Community Foundation, was founded to financially support and raise awareness of local Christian ministries serving Spartanburg County. Soon after, SCCF started offering philanthropic services such as Giving Funds, also called Donor Advised Funds, to Christian givers supporting these same great causes. In 2003, SCCF harnessed the idea of “collective giving” and created an opportunity for everyone to unite in supporting a large cross-section of ministries by giving through one common fund. Since then, SCCF has grown tremendously and now serves the state having presented more than $2 million through this initiative.

The Community Trust, SCCF’s collective giving fund made possible by the generosity of individuals, families, and businesses, supports and expands evangelistic efforts across the state, primarily in Spartanburg, Greenville, York County, and along the Grand Strand.

Anyone may give to this fund at any time. Donations can be made directly to this fund by individuals, through corporate giving campaigns, through legacy gifts for continued impact, and through private foundations. All gifts are tax deductible and 100% of the donations given to the Community Trust Fund support local gospel impact in South Carolina. This is collective giving!

As SCCF continues this new chapter in our journey, looking to the next 25 years, we are excited to unveil a logo for our Community Trust initiative.

The cross reflects the work accomplished by Christ and reminds us that we are His workmanship—a community of believers loved, accepted, justified, and redeemed by His grace. As such, our call is to join the Lord in caring for those in need, sharing Christ’s love, and proclaiming the good news of the Gospel. One way we do this is through supporting ministries who are in the trenches, who are the hands and feet of Jesus, and who are meeting the needs of the broken, the hungry, the thirsty, the sick, the imprisoned, the widowed, and the orphan.

Through the fellowship of believers, especially through our collective giving, our impact for the Kingdom is great! Join SCCF in our journey to share the love of Christ and grow the Kingdom in the Palmetto State.

Our partnership with SCCF for our Donor Advised Fund has helped us expand and grow our giving opportunities with “Kingdom-focused” ministries.

Through SCCF’s great support and service, Circle 555 in York County has made a Kingdom-minded impact on our community. I give to many nonprofit organizations, and without hesitation, I would recommend SCCF to manage gifts in an impactful manner that is pleasing to God.

Having participated in Gatekeepers for a few years, I have found the fellowship, accountability, and community with Christian brothers to be life-giving, edifying, and enriching. I would encourage anyone considering Gatekeepers to try it. You will be blessed beyond expectation.

Because SCCF is mission-focused and Christ-centered, my husband and I prayerfully decided to invest our charitable funds with them and participate in their ministries. We feel confident our investment works for God’s glory and His Kingdom.

SCCF has become a valued and trusted resource for Christians focused on building God’s Kingdom through faithful stewardship and generous giving in York, Chester, and Lancaster counties.

The greatest blessing for me in Circle 555 is partnering with Christian women from our community to support local ministries with our grants, gifts, and prayers and then hearing stories of how the Lord has changed lives and impacted families through these ministries.
