Community Leadership Council

Collective Giving to Benefit South Carolina

Community Leadership Councils engage local ministries, assess their needs, and make recommendations for financial grants. Through the work of these Councils, grants are annually distributed from the Community Trust Fund to ministries serving our communities. SCCF’s Community Trust funds are made possible by the collective financial support of the Christian community. Collective giving creates an opportunity for everyone to unite in supporting a large cross section of ministries by giving through one common fund.

Collective giving means collective impact. When you give to the South Carolina Christian Foundation and the Community Trust, you unite with others in your community to meet real needs and support life-changing ministries. Rooted in the example of the early Church (Acts 2:44–45), this model of generosity reflects the power of believers coming together in faith to share God’s blessings.

Your gift doesn’t stand alone — it becomes part of something bigger. By pooling resources through the Community Trust, we can respond more effectively to pressing needs, invest in long-term solutions, and reflect Christ’s love in tangible ways. Together, we steward God’s provision to advance His Kingdom across South Carolina and beyond.

Our partnership with SCCF for our Donor Advised Fund has helped us expand and grow our giving opportunities with “Kingdom-focused” ministries.

Through SCCF’s great support and service, Circle 555 in York County has made a Kingdom-minded impact on our community. I give to many nonprofit organizations, and without hesitation, I would recommend SCCF to manage gifts in an impactful manner that is pleasing to God.

Having participated in Gatekeepers for a few years, I have found the fellowship, accountability, and community with Christian brothers to be life-giving, edifying, and enriching. I would encourage anyone considering Gatekeepers to try it. You will be blessed beyond expectation.

Because SCCF is mission-focused and Christ-centered, my husband and I prayerfully decided to invest our charitable funds with them and participate in their ministries. We feel confident our investment works for God’s glory and His Kingdom.

SCCF has become a valued and trusted resource for Christians focused on building God’s Kingdom through faithful stewardship and generous giving in York, Chester, and Lancaster counties.

The greatest blessing for me in Circle 555 is partnering with Christian women from our community to support local ministries with our grants, gifts, and prayers and then hearing stories of how the Lord has changed lives and impacted families through these ministries.
